Uttaran Star Rashami Desai opened up about her divorce to Nandish Sandhu. Two met for the first time on the set of Uttaran. He was the co-star in that TV Show. later they had participated as a couple in Nach Baliye 7. The couple tied the knot in 2012. Within four years, Rashami Desai and Nandish Sandhu were divorced.
Rashami thanked Salman Khan and her few friends for supporting her at her bad time. She also spoke about her bad relationship in the dance-based reality show and the news about her abortion came out. Rashami claimed that Nandish was having several ‘female friends’. And this is the reason behind their divorce. Few photos of Nandish along with his female friends went viral at that time. On the other hand, Nandish accused Rashami of her excessively sensitive behaviour.
Rashami Spoke About Her Divorce:
While talking to ET times, Rashami said,
The first time out (marriage), I was shaken up very badly. I had got involved and taken a big step (marriage) in my life rather quickly. But I soon realised that it was better to move out of it.” The actress shared that if two people stay in a relationship despite the fact that they don’t get along it ends up hindering their growth. She mentioned that both of them get suppressed. Desai added, “And I came out from my marriage very respectfully.
Talking about her divorce, she also said,
If Nandish had given his 100 per cent to this relationship then nothing would have gone wrong. I have never had any problems with his female friends. I’ve never doubted him. I was busy with my travel and work. I did not know he was dating someone or not. Even if he is, then he should enjoy. I wish good for his future.
In Bigg Boss house she got a marriage proposal from her ex-boyfriend as well as co-contestant Arhaan Khan. Recently she is dating him. She was really devastated at that time divorce. Explaining the mental state at that time she said,
It was a tough time no doubt as I wondered what to do next which is natural if one’s support system comes crashing down. One then doesn’t have the clarity ahead; the future plans lie dashed to the ground. I felt I was in a place where most people looked at their advantage.
Rashami Thanked Salman Khan:
Rashami got support from Salman Khan and her few friends. She was a contestant in Bigg Boss 13. Thanking all her well-wishers she said,
But if it hadn’t been for Salman Khan Sir and a few friends, I would have been in a bad state. A lot of people may have had their judgment or perception about me and I have no complaints about that.
